Monthly Lecture Series for ER-pertinent EKG mastery. Consists of:
Didactic Lecture, followed by monthly review of real ECG’s from the Emergency Department
Toxicology Lecture Series
Monthly Lecture Series presented by the Department of Radiology Teaching Faculty

Point of Care Ultrasound Course taught by Dr. Hiliary Beason
Taught with Short Didactic Lectures followed by Hands On Scanning Sessions:

- DVT Evaluation
- Arterial Evaluation
- Abscess Location
A series of four half day sessions at the Children’s of Alabama Pediatric Simulation Center
- Respiratory Distress and Arrest
- Cardiac Abnormalities (Congenital Heart Disease, Cardiomyopathy, Rhythm Abnormalities)
- Hypotension (Sepsis, DKA, Dehydration)
- Neurologic Emergencies (Altered Mental Status, Status Seizures, Child Abuse)
